I've been craving some good Check Please fics lately, but have had a bit of a struggle finding them. I'm sorta looking for something largely in-universe, in character, maybe longer... 30k+ words. Honestly, most of these are very loosey-goosey. I just want some real good fic stuff going on.

Date: 2017-05-25 10:37 am (UTC)If you're a Kent Parson fan, I adore fozmeadows' Scar Tissue (That I Wish You Saw). It's Kent/OMC but also Kent/happiness, and has some of the best OCs (and funniest dialogue) I've ever read, which is why I'm reccing it even though it's a WiP. Jack and Bitty are minor characters in this one, but there's some really touching scenes between Jack and Kent that I thought were handled well. (Warning for involuntary outing though.)
