A promptmeme is an old-fashioned type of party, but I miss it (and miss being fannish on DW). Anyone up for an OMGCP promptmeme?
How it works:
A basic HTML cheatsheet:
<b>bold</b>
<i>italic</i>
<strike>strikethrough</strike>
<a href="http://website.com">link</a>
<user name=username> for
username
<user name=username site=ao3> for
username
<user name=username site=tumblr> for
username
Another option: Use the TinyMCE demo, go to Tools and Source Code, copy and paste it into a comment, hit "More Options", and choose "Don't auto-format"
How it works:
- Reply to this post. In the subject line, write the fanwork type: and a brief description of your prompt. In the body of the comment, mention any additional resources or details and how flexible you are about what you get.
- If you're okay with any type of fanwork, put "Any:"
- Read through the prompts and see if there are any you can fill
- If you fill a prompt, reply directly to the comment. Change the subject line to [CN: Content notes or warnings.] FILL: [Description of work or title].
- (Why the subject lines? It makes the emails group together as conversations in Gmail, for people receiving email notifications on the post)
- Feel free to post under your username, or anonymously! This isn't like a NSFW meme--it's totally okay if you want people to know who's asking, or who made a thing. On the other hand, you don't need an account to participate.
- Please warn for content that is sexually explicit, violent, or has a strong potential for triggering other people. If an image is potentially NSFW, please link to it instead of making it display directly in the comments.
- Feedback makes the world go round! We don't have likes or kudos, but feel free to leave little comments just saying "I liked this," "+1," or "♥" even if you don't have anything longer to say.
