Bitty told the waffles not to go, so it was almost guaranteed that Bitty wouldn't be there. Except that the waffles went anyways...

he's not ready for Bitty to tweet about his love life? he's not ready to be out on any large scale but has only seen Bitty as cheerfully out-to-the-team and doesn't realize that Bitty came out to his parents by kissing his boyfriend on national TV?

also he and Tango went to Easter mass together; maybe Whiskey still has some religious hangups and is still processing for himself what it means that he's into guys?

Will Coach's reaction to Bitty in the next episode offer Whiskey some clarity too?

...is he simply afraid of the presumed gigantic fine for kissing a LAX bro? :P

I know a lot of other people have already commented on how closely his story parallels Jack's but that scene with Whiskey where his hoodie was up and he looked tired and scared really reminded me of Year II Jack. Poor kid.

Also Bitty pulling the waffles out of the party and expressing disappointment was such an '80s teen movie dad move I laughed

I had the thought while driving home that it's such a strong contrast from Bitty and Jack who each came out by their own choice.

It's a real heartbreaker!

I'm intrigued by where it's going, though, and I want to hear more about Whiskey's perspective on the LAX team! IDK, I'm a real sucker for unreliable narrator reveals. I mean, basically all we know about the LAX team is that Shitty hates them, Whiskey's been hanging out with them, and their captain wants to take five on the beef, brush the fuckin' narp goss and nip ched all season. What if they've actually been as great for Whiskey as the SMH has been for Bitty? What if, from Whiskey's perspective, they're even more accepting (of him) than SMH is?

For a hot moment there i thought the problem was gonna be Whiskey is diabetic or has a food allergy. Then again, he did accept the pie in 3.19...

That was not what happened, though.
